E-Mail Notifications for new shares and other things

Nextcloud has a relatively silent way of notifying users of new shares and other invites. Usually you get a small red dot on the bell in the top right corner of the web interface where you then can see all new notifications:

This makes it easy to overlook incoming notifications, especially when they com from other Sunet Drive nodes. This can be changed in the “Activity” section of you user account. There you can add either e-mail or push (i.e., mobile app) notifications for shared folders, shared folders from other servers, and other things, including the frequency on how often you want to receive those notifications.
